Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) [link] in our backyard, looking very puffy after grooming itself.

They are not that common around here either. More common is the great titmouse ([link]). I'm really looking forward to going out on photo safari with my cam more often once the weather finally improves. Last time I went on a hike through a forest nearby, I saw less birds than in our backyard during the last couple of days though. Well, wild animals do tend to be quite unpredictable
Ooh, they are pretty too! and green! What we call a titmouse looks quite a bit different... [link] and we get a lot of 'chickdees' [link] which are related but have a different name is all. ^_^
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.

You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
