Blue tit fledgling, caught red handed at a fatball.
"What is it? Why are you looking at me that way? Is this prohibited?"
This blue tit fledgling and it's parents have been whizzing around the neighborhood all evening. Flight training I presume. The parents kept flying to a tree and were calling for their young until it followed, then flying on to the next tree/balcony/satellite dish etc. A few times, they stopped at the half-empty fatball that's still hanging from our satellite dish on our balcony from last winter. After the mother has been pecking at the bird seeds inside for a while, the young had to try as well.
