The moon just minutes after rising above the horizon around 1 am tonight. The deep yellowish tint comes from air pollution in this urban area.
Notice the shadows of the craters next to the lunar day/night line.
This is my first "serious" shot using my new
Minolta AF 500mm mirror reflex lens.

I'm hoping to get a few clearer shots during my vacation to sweden. No industrial pollution and not a single larger town within a 30 miles radius, i.e. no "light pollution" at night.
