Myyyy precioussss....

This beauty is taking me everywhere I go since January, when my previous ride met an untimely demise in a glaze ice accident.
I've had an eye on this model for some time before and when I suddenly had a dire need for a new ride, my car dealer in town made me an offer I couldn't refuse ;)

Picture taken during my late-summer vacation to Sweden. The Kvien lake in Dalarna provided me with a great backdrop (and a much needed carwash with lots of clear water. What you see in the front is what many ordinary roads look like up there and so the car looked rather dusty brown instead of shiny jet black before that wash).

Some details for the technically inclined:

Model: Ford (Europe) Mondeo 2010
Engine: 1.9 liter TDCI Diesel (103 KW)
Sportive 6-gear stick shift
Huge 18 inch aluminium alloy rims
LED daytime headlights in the lower radiator grill
A -huge- trunk
Route guidance system and bluetooth hands-free system for cellphones included
The best mileage of any car I had to date (more than 750 miles with one fill. About 42 miles per gallon)

I've had the car for 8 months now and just came back from my first real long distance trip with it (halfway across europe and back) and I still love it every day.

The driver's side is very close to the water. How much room did you leave yourself to climb out?

Ah, wasn't -that- close to the water. Wouldn't risk the safety of my car. Was at least half a meter/two feet room to get out.
