Today I got two new lenses for my Sony Alpha 700 (actually used ones): A Minolta AF 50mm/1.7 and a Minolta AF 70-210/4 (dubbed "Beercan"). Both are considered "classics" among the Minolta+Sony lenses. Due to the fact that the mailman came quite late today and due to generally f**cked-up weather, I had to do the testing of the lenses indoors and so I had to be creative to find something to take a picture of.
Decided that my fuzzy comrade here (who joined my life during a vacation to sweden last year) has star potential and took a few pictures of him.
The fella looked so sad and forlorn in the little shop in Sweden, so I invited him to come along. Hmm, doesn't look too happy with his new model career either though.

Technical: Taken with a Sony Alpha 700 and Minolta 50/1.7 lens. Lit with Metz 48 AF-1 flash (bounce flash with reflector card) and reduced flash power.
Slight lighting- and color-correction in PSE5.
